Gratitude Appeal
October 1 through November 30, 2026
What is it?
An eight week GRATITUDE Appeal designed to generate additional revenue – in addition to regular 7th tradition at meetings – to reduce a deficit in our OA-MAI budget. Appeal donations will be kept separate from 7th tradition donations, and, every GRATITUDE donation is 100% committed to OA-MAI!
Who is involved?
Every member of OA-MAI is asked to participate in some way, expressing GRATITUDE for our own recovery. Your participation ensures the message remains available to fellow sufferers in eastern Wicsoncin who have not yet heard our message of hope!
Why is this necessary?
- OA-MAI is operating at a deficit because it did not host its own fundraier in 2025, due to giving service as the host of the Region 5 Convention.
- Intergoup costs continue to increase annually.
- Did you know… there are 23% FEWER meetings than in 2019? And, fewer members attending meany of our 37 weekly meetings. But there are lots of fellow sufferers who have not yet heard our message of hope. CARRYING THE MESSAGE IS MORE IMPORTANT NOW THAN EVER BEFORE!
