The 12th Step

MAI’s Twelfth Step Within Committee
Aligned through the principle of Step 12 to “carry this message to compulsive overeaters,” the committee provides support for OA members still suffering. In particular, it connects those in need with sponsors who have volunteered to be available and have become part of the “We Care List,” which is maintained by the committee.
Some services provided through the Twelfth Step Within Committee are:
- Assistance finding a Sponsor
- Help finding members with phone and/or text availability at specific times of the day
- Providing transportation to meetings
- Help making member connections for your questions and concerns regarding the OA program and recovery
